Anti Aging Treatment

The definition of anti-aging is to delay, stop or retard the aging process. Our bodies are made of cells, and aging occurs when there is cell death. As an infant, child and young adult, our body’s cells are strong, resilient and can make new cells. As the years advance, our body’s ability to generate new cells diminishes, cell death occurs, and the aging process ensues.

Aging in relation to skin denotes appearance of dark spots, fine lines, wrinkles, furrows, sagging and worsening of skin texture over face, neck, hands and other areas of body.

4.) Dermaroller/ Microneedling

Dermaroller or microneedling devices are based on principle of inducing injury to stimulate collagen proliferation, which helps in skin tightening and reduction in pores.

Device uses multiple tiny fine needles to prick the skin causing controlled injury.

It is a minimally invasive procedure and causes mild redness on treated areas, which reduces completely in 4-6 hours.

5.) Non ablative radiofrequency (RF)

Radio-frequency skin tightening is a non invasive procedure that uses radio frequency (RF) energy to heat skin tissue and stimulate collagen production in dermis leading reduction in appearance of fine lines and loose skin.

RF Facial Tightening handpieces are specifically designed for the treatment of wrinkles, tighten and lift sagging skin on the face and neck, including the forehead, cheeks, under the chin and neck.

To achieve optimum results, minimum of 6-8 sessions at gap of one month are recommended.

6.) Microneedle Radiofrequency

It is a minimally inasive treatment which combines benefits of both microneedling and radiofrequency.

Tiny fine needles penetrate skin upto a depth of 1-5 mm and release radio-frequency energy beneath the skin directly, which causes stimulation of collagen production.

Minimal erythema is present after procedure, which reduces in 12- 24 hours

7.) Fractional CO2 Laser

CO2 Lasers are ablative lasers used to treat scars, wrinkles and other deeper skin flaws. Fractional lasers help in creating microinjury to skin, which promotes collagen remodeling, making them popular options for treating fine lines, wrinkles, skin laxity, and age spots.

CO2 laser is an extremely effective method for improvement in skin laxity, fine lines and furrows, provided proper post procedure care in form sun-protection, regular hydration is followed by individual.

Healing of superficial skin lasts for 4-7 days, deeper healing continues longer leading to collagen production.

8.) Fractional erbium glass laser

1540 nm Erbium Glass laser technology enables non-invasive and non-ablative treatments.

This laser works deeply in the dermis while preserving the superficial layer of the epidermis, for maximum results with minimal downtime.

Mild edema and erythema develops over face post procedure, which weans off in duration of 12 hours.
